So here I am coming home at 12:30 in the morning, on a long open road with maybe 3 or four cars on it. I just turn onto this road and A minute or two down it, I notice a car weaving in and out of traffic behind me, Now not being one to instigate much, I just hang back and keep my steady pace.

It was about half a mile later, this mystery car caught up to me, and decided the speed limit i was doing was just too slow. He cut right into the slow lane and blew by me weaving between one car, putting him into the slow lane one car ahead of me.

So I figure, if the ricer wants to be an ******* I'll show him Teh 7 can't lose. I kick it down to fourth, bring the rpms up to maybe 3.5 and go WOT. my turbos spool to the regular 10psi and I start gaining speed toward him. We approach a red light and I hang back half a cars length to see if he will be turning or going straight. light turns green before we reach it and he punches straight. I floor it WOT again. Through my cracked window I can hear his engine screaming at redline, VTEC and all.

He changes to the fast lane in an attempt to cut me off and goes WOT, he hits the hazards. I laughed. I kick it up to fifth and keep the gas mashed to the floor, RPM's climbing to about 5,000, My vaccum leak catches up with me and my boost hits zero, but i keep it WOT and pass him and pull 3 car legnths, by now I was up to 130 mph, civic 3 cars behind and not getting any closer. I flick the hazards, Teh seven can't lose.

So I pop it in neutral and slow down for the red light up ahead, get into the turning lane to go left, and wait. Now I notice in my rear view the civic didnt get enough of his previous *** whooping, and revved at me from behind. The green arrow hits, and I moderately accelerate through the turn, trying to avoid spooling the turbo as the ground is wet. I get out and moderatly accelerate to see if he is really going to try again...yup. Ricer flyby, I downshift to second and WOT, building my steady 10psi of boost, shifting by about 3.5 - 4k to keep my boost from falling flat. Appearently vtec and a folgers can went to this guys head, one car legnth ahead of me he flips his hazards again.

I really couldnt believe this guy, WOT, I start to pull on him, My RPM's climbing to 5,000 I hit 130 before my boost drops to zero. Still at WOT, I pull by the civic and put a nice 3 car length lead again, obviously this guy is not happy.

I coast to a stop at a light, civic AGAIN gets beside me with his window down. I really don't focus on him much, it started to get routine, does he think his magical vtec can pull an extra 70 horsepower out of its ***? Roads are wet, Im not going to launch and spin out. I look in my rear view mirror and think "that looks like a cop, but those lights look to old to be a cop, like a 80's chevy truck."

so light turns green, Civic Floors it and burns out, smokes front tires and can't get traction, then finally starts to pull away. Me, Im doing about 40 in a 45, and for good reason.

The car that was behind me suddenly jerks two lanes over and whoop whoop, red and blue lights.

Civic pulls into the walmart parking lot, and I keep going straight.

Teh seven can't lose, what can I say.

 

sounds like a fun night... hope you got your flame suit ppl are going to bitch about high speeds on wet roads and bla bla bla knowing good and well we have all done it

oh trust me I know. I don't drive beyond my limits or that of the car, so I didnt push it harder than I knew I could safely handle, but I wont lie to you, cornering at 130 mph is rather scary in the pitch black of night. If I hadn't traveled that road for the past 10 years regularly I wouldn't have done it.
