Well, the dude had the gangsta lean going on, and kinda peered my car up and down with his beady little eyes. He looked like he may have been 18 years old and had his cap tilted up and to the side with a pink polo shirt to complete the image. He looked at my car like he thought it was a polished turd. To be honest, this is the image I get of many of the people in here that claim to take down c5 vettes and ls1 fbodies with their stock fd's. He gunned it away from the light and I pulled even with him and let him take off. He started to look backwards to see how far behind him I was when I passed him.

If you can give a 13 second car a jump, sand bag, then pass at will, your running 11's or better. Unless your story is a little exaggerated... My friends mustang pulls 11's on street tires and was able to pull past me when I got a jump in my 13 second 240Z, but he has a lot of money and time into his car. A stock 302 is only making 250-280 in perfect condition on a fresh build with a tubular manifold and 4 barrel carb... and a junk yard motor is going to be lacking power. Also, those numbers are at the engine.
