He smiled back and said his car is fully modified and would take mine. I replied with "too bad yours only goes straight."

Light turns green and I dump the clutch and proceed to lay rubber in 1-2-3rd for about 150ft.

Those little POS cars crack me up. When they reach 50K miles they will need a complete rebuild. For the $20K he paid and then the $5K in mods I built my entire car.

 

the stock srt intercooler is good for over 400hp, it only takes ex,dp,wga, and int. to get to 300hp. to get in the 12s the last parts listed plus stage 1, fmic, and fuel return kit. its been done with only 800 bucks in mods. PVO personally built an srt4 with just stage 3 and toys and turbo back ex. (no cat) that made 400 hp (as dynoed by scc). everything else was stock. they then put drags slicks and ran a 11.8-9 i believe. How ever the car was on a severe diet. (carbon fiber doors, hood, trunk, stript int.) AS for handling issues, these can easily be fixed with camber plates and wider tires (stock 6in wide)

Maybe it's just me but I'm not all that impressed with the stage 3 numbers.

I don't know if they mean WHP of Flywheel HP but Stage 3 "only has 310 HP" on regular gas but has 350 HP on high octane. But maduhbee with only 280 RWHP would get smoked.

Dude hook up your ride a little more. You are just a few components away to around 330 RWHP. You already have a PFC get the MP, and intake, a retune and you should be at around 300 RWHP.

Hopefully this wont happen to me. After I get my car fixed imma try it out and put on a couple more mods. See the thing is, some dudes at school wont shut up about this guys srt-4. Talkin about all this crap. They say he has NOS, and all this other crap. They say its fast but idk. Some people have never seen fast and they think 100 is fast. But, im going to look into his car and see what im up against and then shut everyone's mouth.

he was cruising on 95 down near daytona beach when an FD challenged him to a race. at this point he figured the SRT was invincible and went for it... not realizing that there were like four more behind. basically after he was stomped by the first the rest boxed him in and took turns... like a prison raping.

Back to the topic, maybe a few $$ on mods and retune as stated somewhere earlier plus a few trips to the drag strip should even things out a bit...

oh well... I guess i shouldadmit to my defeat... i still like the stock twin setup, and being at 12psi (which is pretty moddest), I'd say that I'm probably hitting 280rwhp. Anyway, i got other things to focus on besides getting whooped by your every day neon.. (oops, srt-4 hehe). like... getting my 4th wheel!!!! grrr. shipping from japan sucks!
