That sounds like a Piston powered FC.

The only RX7 that has a piston engine is the red 3rd gen..

The FC is 100% rotary powered, all motor...if you really think that's not a rotary, thats because you have never heard nor seen any good running ones before..sorry about your luck.

Beside...its imposible for an n/a rotary to beat an evo boosted over 30psi w/ meth injection...(unless the evo drive in reverse gear)

Your must think everyone is smoking crack to think thats not a piston FC.. lol For one Im sorry an all motor FC with a 13b I dont care how its ported and what it has done to it is not going to beat a AWD Evo boosting 30lbs which has to be around 400hp+. Two something that might make it possible it a N/A 20b which in that case would sound completely different... And three listen to the exhaust note at the end of the race when he gettin on and off no rotary engine sounds like that. I think its so gay when peopel try to hide what they have...Show it off and be proud win money because you have a better car not becasue you race peopel with unmatched cars.

Sounds like it was rotary powered to me. It also sounds like that evo was having problems. Listen closely at the end the evo is only tapping the throttle.

FB, but don't underestimate what people can do with a 13b. I personally don't think the public even has a clue, compared to the professionals. (me included)

I must have grown out of watching street racing videos, cause that was boring as hell. All the cars sounded the same, the footage sucked and the races were like 10 seconds each. What type of speed do these guys reach by the time the race is over?

it was sweet seeing an FC beat an EVO even if the EVO was having issues, we can pretend it wasnt

 

I didn't say he came to the race WITH a problem and raced anyway. You have to be extremely stupid to go into a $3k race with a problem and I was not suggesting that. I meant maybe he developed a problem after he launched. As the cars both pass the camera there sounds like there is a bit of backfiring as they shift into 2nd he could have damaged something, who knows, that could explain the throttle blips at 7:30-33. Of course maybe the FC was in fact turbo and the evo got the launch and then got run down by the 7 when they picked up speed as is usually the case.

The fact remains though that we really don't have a clue what was under that hood. I'm goin with boosted rotary cause I don't think an NA fc would have much of a chance.
