Corvette Z06 chasing a Ford GT

Check this video out. It’s a Corvette Z06 chasing a Ford GT, presumably driven by Camillo Pardo, the GT’s chief designer, at 140 mph on I-94 through Detroit. At one point they pass a couple of Lamborghinis.

Not exactly using good judgment...

Nah, ya think?

What a bunch of asshats.

Sweet rides though. Corvettes are on every corner of this country, but that GT is quite rare.

travelled that road a few times....another reason I don't miss Michigan, all the potholes and busted up tarmac

kind of boring vid, they should have at least done a few rolls, that would have been cool

Crazy driving like that.. Awesome to watch though. You can see how the GT is dominant. Putting distanse between them in open areas. Yes, the GT is first to the punch but still spaces on longer stretches. Awesome display of these two monsters. I like how the passenger mutters " They dont want any" at the Lambos. HAHA! Thanks for sharing.

That vid sucked.

Just a bunch of rich people chasing each other through traffic. This is almost as dumb as the RS4 vs. M5 vid. Except this wasnt as bad.

They shoulda did a couple of rolls, not see who can reach 160mph first through traffic.

didnt seem like too bad of a vid to me. Those cars were flying at some points. Im surprised the 2 lambos didnt try to join in the fun. that would have made for a bad *** video.

******* morons, if they want to act like ******* idiots, it'd be best to do with no people around so they can only kill themselves and the passangers.

Um no.

A fast car is a fast car, regardless of price. Just because you're behind the wheel of a vette, viper, ferrari and chasing down another exotic, doesnt make it ok to just go ahead and release your need for speed at that given moment, regardless of the situation. I have driven MANY fast cars (yes expensive ones too) and when i go WOT, its nowhere near the amount of cars on the road like the cars in this video.

I understand the spir of the moment where you see a rare "fast" car and you want to chase him or intimidate him etc etc. But going at those speeds, with a passenger, with that many cars on the road, ummmm i wait for another chance like that where its less dangerous.

It's nice to see the roads in Detroit are just as bad as when I was there in 1985.

Exactly!!!!! Civic or CGT it doesn't matter that was ruthlessly unsafe for them and everyone else. A quick hit to 140mph is one thing doing it for mile after mile is another thing.

Locally a guy on I-12 was caught going 180mph in a C6 Z06 3 days in jail and impoundment!! Yes, he's rich as hell too owns 11 vette's of various mods and years.

Yes, it was stupid of them to do, but we all tend to get a little stupid when we get behind the wheel of a fast car. I think you guys would be a lot less harsh on them if it was a couple of 400 or 500 rwhp rx7s.

asshats is right.

i was thinking to myself, "i hope this douchebag crashes" after he picked up his phone and started talking while doing 100MPH+ through congested traffic, in some parts he was driving rather reckless off the shoulder of the road.
