Cop Cars

this is my first post, sorry if its the wrong thread. I live in texas, and all people drive are Z28, WS6, and 5.0 mustangs, and every saturday night kids bring their cars to the valley(long strip of road where everyone races) well the cops caught on and tried catching some of the cars, but the got outran every time, so our police department baught 2 new 05 corvettes, and are now catching everyone, didnt know if this happend to anyone else

sorry if my post is real long

damn i whish i had a ws6 i would stay with that damn nice cars, you need to chill with the racing though you get caught and they can take your liscence. im not one to talk just be careful. A WS6 will kill an FD in a drag, the WS6 is probally a better daily driver. But an RX7 would destroy it in the curves and looks way better imo. WHat are you planning on using the car for?

i wanted to get an rx-7 because it was different, i hate having the same car as everyone else, and i like it that this car is small, unlike my bulky ws6

You my friend, are on the right path.

FD's can be made as fast (and faster) than a WS6 with very basic mods. But yes, FD's weigh in at under 2800lbs... Heavy Pontiac's don't compare, lol.

This guy is wrong. When my FD was on stock boost, with a downpipe, exhaust, and an intake, I beat a WS6 by a car 1/2. And my FD was an auto! The WS6 doesn't run much better 1/4 mile. And from a roll the FD does pretty good against one is they are both stockish.

buy an rolling fd chassis and put your ws6 drivetrain in it. you'll have a car that's faster and better looking than your trans am and you'll also have a reliable 7. let the flames begin.

My thoughts exactly. I've got a few WS6 kills under my belt as well. But i never take a modded LS1 lightly. A bolt-on WS6 vs a bolt-on FD are a pretty good match. and both are very nice cars.

thanks for the input, i dont think i have ever seen or raced an rx-7 before, but back to the kills topic, just raced a GTO, and smacked it with my ws6, and after the race he says, "where did you get that camero" i laughed and sped off
