thought you guys might like to see this since you seem to have a bit of omni love


the black car is almost done, i had to swap on a later model smaller alternator and the radiator i was going to use turned out to be rusted to hell so im waiting on a new aluminum one, but once i find a short belt for the alt and have the radiator i will be able to go through and lock everything into place for good.. basically there are about 6 hours of work left to do once i have the parts i need and then it will be fully functional again..

i dont think it would be physically possible to stuff a bigger intercooler than that in there it has about a half inch of clearance on the engine side, and absolutely none anywhere else its a big npr, core dimensions are 14.5 tall, around 3 inches wide, and 2.75 wide.


hoping to pull around a 12.8 out of the car on this setup.. not too bad for a stock omni tune, suspension, turbo, and bottom end

ill be building up a forged motor over the summer for it and have very high hopes for it to be pulling some decent by any cars standards times by the end of the season... im running 20 psi on a stock 50 trim t3 right now, as long as my financial situaton doesnt take a turn for the worse by october ill be running ~30 psi and spray through a 57 trim t3/t4 on a big valve head... im not quite sure what to expect since traction is going to be hard to come by, but the car weighs 2200 lbs with me in it and im hoping for around 375 whp on the bottle... so we shall see what happens

that car, well actually both are amazing... thank you for informing me about the danger of racing an Omnii.. god i felt like crying at the end of the vid... but glad to see everybody chip in to make things right. good luck
