it seriously felt like someone died ha. i never thought i would feel the way i felt that night about a peice of steel... totally sucked. i put a shitload of work into that car, waited for months while looking to buy another one (that was my 4th) and finally found that one.. paid 500 bucks just to have it shipped to me. ive never seen any omni as clean as that one was, let alone a turbo one that was that clean.
it was 1 or 3 turbo omnis in that color combination and had absolutely zero rust on it. the bottom of the car looked brand new. my 98 30k mile gsx had more rust than it did.
if i ever find out who did it its going to be nasty.

cops didnt do ****. there was a peice of the car that hit me in the street apparently, but they took it and then lost it. there are a few hundred local people on our forums and they were all on the lookout for a messed up white 4 door but nothing ever came of it
i dont have the time or energy to track the guy down. karma will get him. all i can do is move on.. all the money people donated really took my mind off of it, i had no idea anythign like that would happen.. it was definately a unique experience. town isnt small, there are a couple hundred thousand people around here

kind of odd that noone around where you live saw anything. Thats got to suck. I would die if I came home and saw my dd, a 1990 camry station wagon, rx7 '85 or my soon to be '82 rxy gsl torn up like that. With all that smashing .. I wonder.. did the police do anything?

I am so terribly sorry. I was absolutley hysterical watching those 'stangs get torn apart and then before I knew it, I was very depressed. I hope you get the new one up to par with your old one. good luck man.

hey call the local news company and tell them what happened. sometimes they will put it on on the late night news. then let them know how the police "lost" a piece of evidence. I would be going after the cops for losing that ****. couldn't you tell what kind of car it was?
that same thing happened in seattle a few years ago and the guy ended up being a COP
