Im sorry you can say that with a real kill. One with perferably you driving so we can make fun of your driving as well until then, please do not post bs and then get mad at people for expressing their opion on your kill, which should have had all the correct info at the first post so it is less confusing. no one is doubting that there in fact IS a such thing (seen it before), what we are doubting is that this (as far as we know) imaginary truck just out of nowhere has one. kind of funny how he casually forgot to mention the turbo and other circumstances. i sure as hell would have never left out the "oh! my brother's truck is turbo'd!" part, would you? nah.

 

Anyway aside from racing in a truck (which I doubt he was going very fast) Those SRT-10's the ones with the viper motors seem like a pretty stable ride even at speed.

Daven, haha... I don't hate trucks... there are some super fast trucks out there... and to be perfectly honest... there are some really fast diesel powered trucks out there... I see them squash hondas once a day near my house The redneck boys get a kick out of revving their engines over the honda fart canons and eating them off the line. So, yea, it happens.

But, this post is super lame and generalizes an entire group of auto enthusiasts, who in fact, would have probably eaten that Dodge's lunch any day of the week. That's all.

Agustin just needs to get his facts right the first time next time... and learn to "edit" instead of tacking up 4 posts saying, "but I forget this... and that... and this." Oh I totaly agree. And those duramax diesel's can be in the 13's with a exaust and a retune.

But the starter of this thread just seems like a total tard for bragging about racing some old cobra, that #1, probly wasnt racing, and #2 might have not even been a cobra. Living in a big city like houston, I see alot of kids that put a few cobra badges on their cars, and usualy dont bother to remove the v6 bumper.

The early 90ish cobras were nothing too powerfull (not including the 95 R though. ) but saying all cobras have no ***** is a bit much. Run up agains a 03-04 with just a kenny bell swap, hell, the stock ported eaton, and they will show you all the ********* you want.

Im personaly an owner of a 04 cobra, and I can't tell you how many times people like the poster of this thread have come up and flown by me, as if I was engaged in a race without my knowing. Some of us are just not dumb enough to race everyone they see on a crowded road.

 

i don't think he goes on the boards anymore, he's an older fellow (50+). i think you might have seen it posted under the username AcE XbOx M3, that's my friend, he's all over svt performance and LS1Tech. the cobra has a swapped blower (not sure what it is) and is a street beast with still full interior. none the less, a perfect example of amazing power/potential.

 

Yea I thought I saw it on there, looks like a whipple to me, very nice work. The 03/04 cobras are one of the most powerfull cars for the money. Sadly, im stock for the moment besides a pully swap, but hopefully work will lighted up in the next few months and let me get some time for a whipple or a bell swap. I hear that whine in my dreams now adays. ( I think thats when you know you need a girl freind.)

 

i had a 01 cobra, and it was awesome, suade interior, crisp sounding engine. The worst thing about them though is that 1 out of every ten cars you see driving is a mustang, gotta love that rare rotary.

looks like they've had a cobra every year since 93, you are right, there was only the cobra R on 00, and there was no 02 cobra, but it could have been a 99.
