well we were coming back from downtown LA on the 110 and we see this cobra aroung 200-2001 not sure we're in a 2004 dodge ram hemi minor mods. so we think it would be fun to play with it and to our thought we knew we didnt have a chance so we go on their side and tempt them they finally get the picture and hit the pedal to the metal,so do we and there was minor traffic we have a...well its a pick up to say the least and we're weaving in and out and we took him pretty bad we get of and he room rooms

mods:intake,exhaust....well thats about it

There was no Mustang Cobra in 2000 unless you mean the Cobra-R(385 hp) which I highly doubt you were running against (if he was driving an "R" and lost to your Dodge then he was not into it much). The newer body style mustangs did not have a "cobra" version until 2001 in which they had 320hp from the factory.

Actually it was a 1990 Mustang LX with a 2.3 liter 4cyl, and the truck isnt actually a truck its a Fighter Jet and we werent really on the highway i was just flying overhead and i saw the mustang at a stop light so i figured i would race him... So i beeped the horn 3 times (you didnt know jets had horns did you) and put my foot to the floor (you didnt know jets had gas pedals did you) and then at about 120 MPH i hit the nitrous (NOS for all you 2f2f guys) and i smoked her. (oh i forgot to tell you it was a girl driving and she was old).

So dont call BS on my story man!

Lol!! About three years ago I was driving my step-dads 1998 Ram V-10 baby! We had it LOADED two desks a love seat/fold out mattress and a million boxes, but I raced in a loaded truck! first it was a green dodge neon with like purple anodized wheels, and then we raced an eighties Trans Am, sweet stuff. I tell you what I bet the V-10 Rams would give a cobra a damn good run for its money, especially an SRT-10. But I raced the T/A with an empty bed and spun the tires real bad, even got some wheel hop, although at one point I think I burned out for almost a block straight lol! but I raced the Neon fully loaded and killed him, I love that truck.... ah memories...

Cobra's have big ***** actually. A gentleman I know has a 99 Cobra that's supercharged w/ IC and it kills corvette's (zo6's), vipers and almost anything you throw at it. He races it in NASA and it's quite a site to see. BTW, it's got 120,xxx miles on it now and he STILL races it, only having replaced the transmission to upgrade it to a newer 6 cobra spd.

Well, all I have to say is I owned (and sold, consequently) an 04 Cobra blown to 630 rwhp... I would have eaten your lunch and kidnapped your sister! For the record, let it be known that the Ford 4.6 is one of, if not the best, platform for building monstrous amounts of horsepower... sure you can take a swing at it all day long, but for the buck and reliability... you can't touch it. Besides the powerplant, I have nothing to really brag about a Ford.
