Was the guy in Skyline racing? I'm not saying that the end result would be different, but it didn't look like the guy in Skyline was doing anything but cruising.

To me, it just looked like a guy in a fast civic making a douche of himself by trying to get a Skyline to race him.

DAMN!!! That civic was friggin flying. In the last run it looked like the civic gave the skyline a head start a little bit and still owned him! I don't care what you say, that civic was fast for any car, end of story.

When will people realize that the Skyline is not beastly!

Yes the mod'd ones are quick but I bet this was stock. It was probably a GT or GTS(whichever) which is single turbo or something like that.

That's like me racing a Geo metro.

I'd still take the skyline though. Screw civics. Everyone and their grandma has one.

GTS = non turbo

GTST = 2.0 litre turbo but not 4wheel drive

GT-R = 11 seconds stock.. 4wheels drive twin turbo rb26 godzilla!

and yes that was a GT-R unless he changed the front-bar and put a gt-r spoiler, which is also possible..

but damn that civic is quick.. anyone know wat year civic that is?

I am not exactly sure on the year but it is in between the years of '88-'91. You can tell by the steering wheel, but I have been out of the Civic scene too long to remember.

I saw a civic in the back of Sport Compact Car a while ago. It was purple, but that was the worst part: CF hood, doors, hatch, all lexan glass, FULLY stripped interior, 1900lbs, and a B-series on more than 40lbs of boost. The owner says he routinely knocks off high-hp Skylines - AT THE TRACK.

It was an EF-hatch(basicly a crx with rear seats). those damn things weigh like 2050lb's stock depending on the year/model. So light it wouldnt take much more then 200hp to take a stock GTR from a roll

Do you read anything? He was mentioning a car he saw in the magazine. He wasn't implying that it was this same car and the same vid at some track...

No matter how fast that civic is, I'll never fancy the way they sound or the way they look, however anyone ever dresses one up...*yawn*
