carrera 4 learns that he cant outhandle the 7

So this morning (about 30 minutes ago) I was driving down a local street to meet up a lady friend for dennys. Im coming through an intersection of a light-medium traffic road and about a 1/8th of a mile away I see a Porsche of some sort pass a car on the right like hes hot **** speeding away. I'm like "waoh what a douche..." he then immediately gets back in the right lane then stops at a stoplight VERY CLOSE to him. I just noticed his custom license plate which says "BLING4" At this point I want to teach this guy a lesson. I'm hoping he doesnt get on the free way so I can school his **** in the straight away thats coming up. I get in the left lane and get beyond the car he just past in the right lane. The porsche then proceeds to take a right turn to get onto the freeway, he takes the turn pretty fast... I proceed and take the turn even faster. By this point he knows that its on. He speads up through the onramp that takes a 270 degree angle onto the freeway. He takes the inside lane while I take the outside lane. I'm hearing his tires screetch as he goes through it while I slowly pass him in the OUTSIDE LANE and take the front. I give a big : out the window then he speeds past me on the freeway and I can see the look on his face of disgust to losing to some young punk in a riced out import car. Oh well, at least his car will help him get the girls with the youth he lacks.

The 50/50 weight distribution of the FD3S > $90,000 worth of car.

mods:
Mazdaspeed coilovers
Perelli pole position tires
sway bars
strut bars
end links and trailing arms
battery relocated to rear
every single mod required for single turbo minus upgraded secondaries ( and minus the single turbo of course)
boosting .25-.3 bar because of homoerotic boost leak.

+1 for the rx7s.

Yeah.. Thats one of the three normal reactions I get.
1. Your cheating w/ that nitrous.
2. The pissed off flybye w/ nasty look.
3. The respectful wave/ damn that things jacked up.
The first being the lamest because my car really isnt that fast. Ive learned to let it go unless its a decent challenge or a really nice car w/ an ******* driver needs a lesson. G

But here's the best part, did he really act he was hot **** speeding pass a car? This seems very common for some reason. I have have to agree with Montego on this on.

lol you think he cares he "lost" to your car? I mean im not trying to talk down on you, congrats that you beat him but you're acting like you're hot **** now that you beat a porsche.

He probably thinks, "o cool little import car, at least i have a PORSCHE, going home which costs 500k+".

I doubt you even phased him.

I think that alot of porsche owners buy their cars at largely because they are great performance cars, and not just because they are prestigious etc etc. I think that I would care if I was the guys in the porsche. I wouldnt want to swap cars, but it would bug me. I've got this expensive car which is suposed to be on of the greats in handling (and it is) and a mazda over takes me ON THE OUTSIDE.

But who cares if the guy went home cried himself to sleep anyway?

Good Kill.

You're thinking about this in the wrong way. When rich people buy porsche's, they buy them for the handling, power, convertible, and the sheer fact that they like them because they look good. Some are even enthusiasts. I'm pretty sure after he lost, he just laughed and went on about his business at his multimillion dollar home, with his trophy wife and perfect kids, while you and the thread starter are calling your buddies up, braggin about how you "humiliated" a Porsche and how he had this disgusting look on his face, only to come onto a forum and brag about it more, hoping to get praise and respect for the kill, yet, you get the opposite. Some praised...I guessed.

What year Carreara whas it? Your car is turbo and is probably lighter. You think because he owns a Porsche he doesn't know what an FD is?

Uhh... Some of you guys need to chill out IMO. This is the kills section, so EVERYTHING is going to be either "Yeah, I beat this guy!" Or, "Yeah, I got killed..."

Therefore "bragging" (so to speak) is commonplace and it's unnecessary to point it out...

Regardless, these guys had a "curved" race and the FD beat the Porsche... This doesn't have ANYTHING to do with "FD's beating Porsche's" in general. Nor does this have anything to do with who lives in the bigger house etc.

All the original poster is saying is; "I beat a certain Porsche, with a certain driver, around a certain turn, at a certain time"... That's it.

...then proceeded to give a unnecessary thumbs down out of the window." I can understand bragging, but this is a pretty poor way to brag about something.

The thumbs down thing was lame. And even as it is with my FB, if I owned a Porsche and lost around a turn with it, I'd laugh it off. I am a Porsche enthusiast, and its for the engineering behind them, not because they can beat anything on the street, modded or not.

Its cool and all that you beat it around a turn, but why give a thumbs down? That guy owns a Porsche for his own reasons, and perhaps it was to beat a lot of other cars on the street, but why give him a thumbs down? The original post seems like you are just bashing Porsche's like crazy, but why would you bash them? They'll outlive your car, the technology of their car is beyond yours, and it may not be as fast as yours but it is still an amazing performance car.

You missed the point.

A simple smile or a thumbs up would have been more of a mature way of defeating another car but its another thing to give a thumbs down. All that shows is that you're happy you made your car fast so you can have a chance at a higher cost car that you'll never afford (not you, i meant in general) and beat them to show off.

That proves nothing, all it is is that you put money into your car to beat another car. If the porsche owner put money into his car, it will be faster and still be a better overall engineered car.

And about the house, i was saying that would probably be the porsche guy's mental reply to the other guy's "thumbs down" thinking to himself that o who cares, he got a faster car but at least i own a more expensive car and a bigger expensive house. I didnt mean or say that all porsche (or other higher priced car) owners think like that.

Actually TVR are russian and they are known for unpredictable, shitty, understeer and oversteer handling. However, latest TVR Seretogis does handle good.
