Camaro SS vs FD.
I have a RB catback, and a K&N filter with adam c's custom intake kit.
Last night it was the local race night out in the boonies. I ran a few cars but the biggest challenge I guess I had was the Camaro SS... and I am pretty sure it was probably the 02.
I launched the car from like 2k rpms and had very nice traction throught first. He was aheah of me by his passanger door being at my nose, but by the time 1st ended I was probably up with him with a few feet further then he was. End of second I jumped out infront of him and had maybe 5 away from him. End by the end of 3rd and the time I shut down I was probably a car or car and a half ahead.

a friend of mine in his white single supra got his *** wooped by a 500 hp 98 camaro ss with a 150shot (that camaro wasent playing around)
it was from a stop. the ss had slicks and once he launched with us he pulled 2 car lengths ahead of us. But once we hit 3rd it was dead even. we werent catching up and he didnt kept pulling. only pulled on the start.
BTW nice kill. Didnt mean to hijack your thread!

you also have to look at the power to weight ration(weight/HP, weight/torque). I don't know how much camaros weigh but they must be heavy..
