C5 Corvette, Blown SVT Cobra

It's nice to be able to play with the big boys and come out on top.

Yes, I raced both. I beat C5 the Corvette from a second-gear roll, and the Cobra from a third gear while roll running 17psi on pump-gas. Both owners were pretty nice about it too. Corvette owner actually said "You're too fast for me."

/I think the SVT would have won from a dig.

Ok now that's much better!

More details would be even better. As in when did you start pulling, and an estimate on how many car lenghts you won by, and ending speed.

I was at about 5k in 2nd gear for the run against the C5. We ran up through 3rd, and I gained approximately 1.5 car lengths. I'm not sure how fast we were going.

I ran the SVT from 3rd gear through 4th, and pulled about a car length.

They come from the factory with a ridiculous amount tire, which is why I assumed he'd walk me from a dig. I'm running 195's in the rear to save the diff from kersploding, which makes for a lot of wheel-spin on launch.

Even in 3rd gear, those things are damned fast. I honestly think I have more to fear from them than from Corvettes. I was really happy to get a C5 tho, as it's kind of a right of passage for first-gen guys.
