c5 corvette

so i was on my way to band practice when this c5 vette passed me going about 90, i was doing about 65...so i thought to myself " maybe he wants to take a run with me" ; actually i just wanted to see how i would fare against a vette. so i dropped into 3rd and caught him in about two seconds. i stayed behind him until traffic cleared about 100 yards down the road. anyways by the time i pulled to the right lane we dropped down to about 75-80. I was hanging about one car back as he gave it the torque, so i followed with the high end rotary power. I gained a few inches on him until about 128 when i hit fuel cut and had to back off for 1/4 of a second. he slowed down when he saw me lose a bit of ground but i got back on the throttle only to pass him upon my exit just to let him know what type of car was keeping up with him.

I would not call it a kill, but I would definately say that i gained a bit of respect from a c5 owner.

1989 TII port/polish TB @ apprx 230 rwhp just before fuel cut. hehe

car must be light with 230whp... thats very respectable to hang with a C5 from a 80 roll

those cars can move up over 100mph
