Before I got my fc I use to ride in a jetta. I was at a light sitting in my 95 jetta glx(7.4 0 to 60 stock). This guy pulled up in a green riced out civic. The light turned green and he opened up all the way. I saw him shoot a car length in front of me. My passenger said he wants to race. So I pushed the gas in and hit 40 in 1st and I was two car lengths infront of him blasted into 2nd and cut in front of him. XD

 

did you remember to turn your hazard lights on when you cut in front of him?

I had three other people in the car at the time and they all couldn't stop laughing.

 

The Civic guy was probably used to it, ricers tend to do the flyby to each other more than anybody else. My fav is when they do multiple flyby's to each other, usually in heavy traffic.

 

My favorite is when you pull on them by bus lengths, let off, hit the brakes to show you're finished, then 5 seconds later, they pass while still at full throttle.
