88 Se Vs 87 T2

SE: K&N filter, out a straight pipe to single n1 style muffler.
T2: stock*blow off valve, haha*

40mph roll: rollin at 40mph in 2nd gear at about 4k rpm. 3 honks and we go. I instantly put a car on him. at the end i put almost 2 cars on him. let off in 3rd gear at about 90 mph.

I want to race this guy again though. He said his car was ****** up.

Must of been a sick TII. My '89 with intake, straight pipe, and aluminum flywheel got beaten pretty badly by my friends bone stock and mint condition '90 TII. Takes more than intake and exhaust to keep up with TII's.

I'm kinda starting to beleive that some of this may be BS. I have a TII, and I have driven a MR2, both were about 2x faster then my SE. And also, my TII was/is barely alive. Plus a TII would r0x0r the torque on you, so are you sure you pulled a car length on you? Was he actually racing?

You are full of crap with the MR2 as well. A stock mr2 turbo runs high 14's, around 14.7 to 14.8ish and you are NOT that fast with a filter and exhaust. Unless that mr2 wasn't even racing you, wasn't turbo, or was really messed up.

And the stock TII was fucked up as well, it's a 15.0 to 15.2 car stock, you are not even there.
