About 2 weeks ago on my way up to atlanta, I saw a brand new MX-5... I ran next to it at about 70 and held next to him for about a mile or so and decided that he didnt want to play so I went on... after about 30 seconds he flew past me at about 90 and he slowed down to 75 and kept with me for a ways and i flashed my brights, he did the same and we took off. I was supprised at how well it could keep up but i was pulling. We got to about 115 and held it there for a ways... At the end I was about 3/4 leingth in front of him... It was fun ... That was my first race too...

 

the 06 miata is the new body style right?? those are decently fast. nice kill

 

i heard the new mx5's put down decent numbers, but i did see car and driver couldnt get a auto mx5 past 120mph and i know fc's can go faster than that but wow i figured youd get pulled on great job.

 

That MX-5 must have been an automatic...your vert weighs about 500lbs more and has 20 less hp...he should have smoked you.

 

^ he didnt... it was fun though! his 60-100 was really good judging by what i saw. Yes its the one with the giant shark mouth lol... he was fiarly old too (i want to be that cool when im mid 50's lol)....
