Well earlier today one of my friends I hadn't seen in a while (about 5 months) showed up at my house today. We talked for a bit then, then he mentioned my FC and we talked about cars for a bit. It ended up with us racing down this approx. 1/4 mile straight away close to my house. I was in my '88 GXL n/a with no cats and a K&N cone filter(and we can't forget the big patches of rust ), nothing crazy. He was in a '98 Chevy Cavalier Z24. All I know is he cut off his muffler and has 17's.

First go, from a roll(don't ask how fast, my speedo doesn't work)I'm behind him and flash my brights when I'm ready. So I flash and I'm in 3rd gear about 3200rpm. Immediately, I move over into the other lane to pass him, pulling pretty good. I put about 1 1/2 on him and shifted into 4th and just kept pulling. Then he let off, and I continued on and passed the car in front of him too. Then we stop at a gas station and get gas and talk about it. He wants to go again, so we do. This time I'm in front and he's calling when to go. So second time, once again from a roll, we run. I'm in 2nd at about 3500rpm may'be a bit more, and he flashes. I pulled pretty much the whole time. Then we stop at a church afterwards. His car is smoking from the engine bay a little, so we talk some more while he's letting it cool.

Well that was my fun for the night. Also, he gave me the number of another old friend with an Eclipse. I might call him up sometime soon, so be on the lookout for another kill or death soon.
