'88 FC n/a vs '96 S10 v6

i have a stock '88 SE with removed A/C ,and P/S , a cone intake and about 50 lbs of dead weight in the back(bike, tools, liquids) my buddy has a auto '96 v6 Chevy s10. its not much of a kill but last night we decided to have an acceleration battle from 60mph to about 100+. On the take off from 60 to 70 we were nose and nose( i started in 4th) and after 70 i pulled about 1 3/4 car lengths on him until i reached 90+. and thats that. stay tuned for my 03 Cavalier auto w/ CAI and fart can vs my FC

Good kill.

You could have started in third, gotten a better jump, and put more lengths on him. Third gear in an FC (provided you have 4.10's) should redline at around 85-90 mph IIRC.
