i beat one of my friends in my 86 n/a and he has a 1999 audi 1.8l. i was crushing on my way home when he got next to me and we decided to go and i put it in 3rd and he pulled away for a second but the higher i got up in the rpms i started to pull away. we did that 3 times and won the first two and the third i lost b/c i wasent really ready and there was a bit of traffic. after that on a back road in boylston he slammed into a telephone pole doing about 60mph. slammed into it backwards, but he is ok

wow, my 90 gxl was faster then my freinds a4, it was chipped and every thing. now his car would walk all over mine, he's got a massive turbo. front mount, full exhaust. and runs around 25 psi peak boost. holds like 22. or 23. suppose to be over 330 to the wheels.
but not to be mean a4's are nothing they weigh as much as a truck and stock make like 150-160hp while being turbo'ed.

 

A4 Quattros like mine weigh almost 4000 pounds. Mine is a V6 that stock puts out 172 hp. I'm guessing with my catback and intake I'm over 180, but that's about it. The turbo A4s are 180 hp stock.

 

my friends a4 is a 98 with the 1.8t, i dont think it was 180hp but i might be wrong. alls i know is that it was slow and now its fast. also his is a front track.

 

Consumerguide says they're 150-170hp stock actually.
