Lol, we both have horns, i honk it off in the second video. My friend in the cobra wanted to draw as little attention as possible since you can hear my wastegate dumping from like 2 miles away.

lol you dont have a 400whp FD....its 386...not quite enough to round up hahaha

anyway your car is fast!! no shame in loosin to that whipple cobra. they are very fast cars too and i'm surprised he is only running 13psi. most guys run abit more than that and put down atleast 550whp. but 525 on a mustang dyno is very good...dynojets read higher..and it might be closer to 550-560 ona dynojet.

O so you dont have a dyno sheet claiming your hp?

Cause if you were right around 400rwhp, you're lighter than the cobra, i would imagine you would be dead even with him. If he's slightly over 100rwhp more than yours. Unless he has more than 525rwhp?

I have a dyno sheet, from ray at PFS on 14.5-15psi. It dynoed 386. I have run with faster, more powerful fds and run right next to them, so i have a feeling i am right around 400hp, which is what my dyno showed. He made 525 on a mustang dyno. Which i understand is good for 560 on a dynojet! Thats 150hp. I dont think i can make up that power just by 1k lbs, lol

Hmm, im pretty sure you if you brake boost, his lead wont increase like in the vids. he gets the jump and sorta stays in the same spot.

But those cobras are fast man, your car must be really fast to even keep up.

You got to brake boost like a *****. When I raced that LS1 Camaro the first race I didn't brake boost and he got me by one car from 40-150. The second race I brake boosted and got him by 1 car from 40-175..... Anyway good death.

Good races man!!... i wouldnt be disappointed for those cars are damn fast... the fact that you are able to even keep up with one is what counts... i got alot of respect for muscle cars, but most of them have big ego's... Good stuff!!!

Yea, in a previous run i brake boosted him and he couldnt hear the horn so he ended up jumping me any ways. This was all for fun so im not worried about losing. His car is fast anyways.

well whats the rx7 at? about 2950 race weight? cobra is probly pushin near 3800 raceweight

at that difference, if you have 400whp, he'll need 515 to match you... seems like a fair race with his 525 mustang dyno, which is higher on dynojets

I weigh 2740 without anyone in it. With me and my brother, im right around 3100. He has a curb weight of 3880. With him, hes probably a tick over 4k. If he dynoed 525 on a mustang dyno, thats good for 560ish on a dynojet. Which means he still has 50-some horsepower over me. In turn would mean he would beat me by a car or so. Mabye i will try brake boosting sometime.

Terminators are nice cars with a ton of potential. Pretty tough straight out of the box too. There's a few around here running 500-600rwhp on Whipple's, no way I'd mess with them

looks to me like you would've started pulling again, but the mustang let off before that could be determined... how fast mph wise was those races?

Hey Austin, just watched the vids. Those races seem pretty short, did you stop there b/c he was pulling on you? Those cobras are definitely fast as ****, Ihor's made almost 500 rwhp on the stock blower. Once you get a ported motor in your car you'll be making quite a bit more power with that turbo. Nice races man, next time start from a 20 mph punch and you'll get a nice jump while he has traction problems
