If you had even bothered to read, you would have seen that I was talking about neon owners...now, if you cannot understand the difference between me(no neon) and a neon owner, then that is your second error of this thread. In either event, your explanation is also a sign of a pride complex--you talked about only giving it as much as needed, so you can fool others into racing you. Then again, you arent one to consider honesty a priority anyways....

Sorry, I was speaking about myself in general that I don't understand the mentality that causes someone to require to go all out if it's unnessecary, whether I'm in a neon or a veyron(not that I've driven either). It was a general comment, not nessecerally an accusation that you were talking about me to begin with.

this thread is total bullshit.. in any gear at that speed a 400hp neon would absolutely rape, by buslengths, a stock or even mildly modded fd. the cars weigh about the same, fwd doesnt make any difference from a roll, and an srt4 has torque available all over the place, so even in fifth it wouldnt have been an issue.

if there is any truth at all to this story, i will assume that since you say you pulled on him at first, what actually happened is this

you got next to him and hit it. he was cruising in 5th and noticed you trying to race, so he gave it some more gas and walked by you

calling this a race is like calling hitting a deer with a car hunting.
