Driving with my roommate to his gf's house to pre-funk before hitting town on Fri night. Got onto a nice long strip of 4 lane divided highway with no turnarounds, ons, or offs for about 10 miles, was cruising pretty will through the tunnels. Came out the back side and had a black WRX STI that sounded modded, definitely the exhaust was different. He pulled up next to me, matched my speed, so I waited a few seconds, dropped it into 3rd, and floored it through 4th. Walked him decently.

He wanted a 2nd round but we were coming up on traffic so it was a no go. Was fun though, and got a friendly wave afterwards.

LOIS2:

black 93 FD, streetported, full exhaust, single (T-66), intake, Greddy intercooler, RP radiator, lot of other stuff. Dynoed w/ Steve Kan about a month ago at 347 but was sputtering at high RPM, and then we put in a ignition amplifier, so not sure what's at the wheels right now.

 

That STI must have been modded pretty well to keep up with you even decently.
