I don't think people with Lamborginis, Ferrari's or any other exotic sports cars really know how to "drive" their cars. Since they mostly keep them in their garages and rarely drive them hard, they don't really know how to get the maximum potential out of them. I have personally beaten a Gallardo and I only have 330rwhp.

I know exactly why I would still pick the lambo over the vett. And it can be heard when the camera shifts to the z06 and the lambo downshifts. Pure. Sex.

Who ever said they would take a Corvette Z06 over a Lamborghini is a fool.

Here's the gearing for the two cars. The annihilation would only get worse for the Lamborghini the faster they were to go.

Lamborghini, curb weight 3153 lbs,
6-speed Manual or e.gear Paddle Shift Gearbox
1ST 2.56:1
2ND 1.85:1
3RD 1.42:1
4TH 1.14:1
5TH 0.94:1
6TH 0.81:1
Axel 3.82:1

C6 Z06, curb weight 3132 lbs
Type 6-SPEED MANUAL (M12)
First gear 2.66
Second gear 1.78
Third gear 1.30
Fourth gear 1.00
Fifth gear 0.74
Sixth gear 0.50
Axel 3.42
I was under the impression that the Lambo would top out well over 200+, assuming your #s are correct of course...
I do have to say that i'm concerned with how wrong I am on this one...I was guessing the Gallardo was a bit heavier and the Z06 was a bit lighter.

I do have to agree with AZ'sFastFD3S~! Guess it hasnt run into anything faster yet....

I'd take the Vette as a DD and drive the snot out of it. I'd keep the Gallardo in the garage except for nights that I want to go cruising for poon. I'd much prefer the Gallardo simply because it's more exotic and sounds sexier. I don't really care if it's slower than a car that costs half as much.
