Talking 2003 911 turbo vs. FD3

A good friend of mine just bought a 2003 911 tubro - 12k on the clock. We went cruising Sunday night. Toward the end of the night he said he wanted to see if he could hang with me and another friends 300z (highly modded). We were cruzing down the interstate at 45mph. 3 blasts and off we went. The 911 actually pulled on both of us for about 1/2 to 1 car length. After the turbo spooled up we shut down at 100. i had about 4 car lengths and the z about 1. This repeated about 7-8 times during the night. All from a role.

I think he might have given us a run for our money from a dead stop. He has 4wd - I have spin. I don't plan on telling him that.

Chris

The 996/997tt will trap 114ish. I had a 993tt which is about the same power as the 996 and 997. The newer ones a are alot more refined. The 930t are older models with single turbo and two wheel drive only. I have been on the fence about selling the supra and getting a 996tt with a stage 3 kit that makes 600 crank hp.

I am over 400rwhp.

I am an immigrant - not a native Cincy dweller

The fastest guy was not with us that night. I have yet to beet him. He is driving a Kenne Bell driven Viper - stupid fast. He always gets the jump and I just can reel him back in. Damn Torque.
