tonight i was cruising down the road with a buddy of mine that forgot what it was like to ride in an FC and we come to light and a eclipes spyder passes us and then slows down and gets next to me and we were cruisin around 20 mph and the ecplipes punches it and he is about 1/2 a car length in front of me so it punch it and we pass hime like he was sitting still so we slow down and he flys by us (ricer flyby) and turns a punches it like he is gonna accomplish somethin by doin that. then about 1/2 mile up the road a grand prix gtp pulls up next to us at a light and launches like crap and luckly we caught by another red light and after that light we got about 1 mile of a straitaway with no lights. so when the light turns green were goin and he got me by a little on the launch but my shifting was around 6800 rpms which is right before the engine quits make power. (i would have to say that was some of the best shifting i have done) but his front bumper was right where the front of my door is. needless to say i won. the gtp wasnt much of a kill because he was right there but my whole front end was out infront of him.

 

I was the one on the ride along. The eclipse kill was fun! He had a fart can ala PEP Boys er something. He got beat pretty badly. He marc, I am getting a mid-pipe soon,too. Catch up with you again next week!

nothin like beating eclipses and honda's with fart can's and a pleathure of un-needed guages.

 

Nice win against the GTP as well. I love seeing cheaply modded (ie. fart cannons, and gauges that do nothing more than light up with a non-modified/upgraded ecu.) lose to a car that has many of years it has experienced. Especially when the driver acts like a total hardass and deserves to be put down.
