so i just get the jdm motor dropped and was taking the car home. my mechanic says to put a few miles on her before i really get on it. my wife drops me off and i decide to take the highway home and as i'm getting on the highway there are two crx civics (i know they're civics) and as i get closer i hear the exhaust note and all of a sudden piissssh out of one of them! so i get on her and we leave one of them and then i leave both of them by cars (i don't know how many i didn't look back but they faded back a good distance)! i slow down getting ready get off and revving the heck out of their motors. anyways as i'm coming to a stop the car is spitting and sputtering and the car dosn't want to hold idle and i'm like O-M-G!!!! i've just got it and blown it up already. pheww, come to find out when i got it home with some light on it the car had blew the vaccum lines off. i rehooked them and the car was fine(pheww i sure dodged a bullet).

i just wanted to give it a little to see how it felt. i don't even think i got the thing over 5500 rpm kukri.

oh and the mechanic told me that i can get on it just don't go crazy!

It's not a rebuild, just a Jspec. The motor probably already has over 40,000 on it.

I'm assuime it doesn't need a break-in period, probably a good idea to take it easy for a few km since it was probably sitting for a while anyways.
