13b-re FC - BMW M5

Beat an M5 from a rolling stop. Unkown mods to the M5 defanatly an exhaust of some kind.

Even at the onset, I was ahead by one car at the top of 3rd, when I was quick aproaching my turn. I slowed to turn and M5 guy continued the race alone nearly nailing someone at a bus stop when he understeered around a corner infont of me.

The guy was really working the M5 hard, he stayed in gear really late. I didn't think I would win I only have about 260 WHP on stock twins. (at 4500 Ft, probably a fair bit more here at seal level).

late 90's,

There what about 4k pounds with 340 WHP I guess 240-250 WHP and 2600 lbs is a close match for specs.

I beat a 95-96ish M5 with my streetported S5 13BT. Hybrid turbo. Got him by three car lengths by end of third.

Still I would love to own one, truly nice car!

After looking up the M5 it is one of the few cars that makes the rx7 look economical on fuel. the spec I saw was 19-13 MPG. Which means it probably averages 14.

An 05 M5 does a stock 12.9 quarter fast, but an FC can do that with about 300 WHP. The M5 is a cool car, but its also really heavy.

LOL.
You must be talking about the E39 chassis M5. They started in 2000 and were rated for 395HP at the crank. If you were racing one on the highway with even a decent driver, it would have rolled on you. You most likely raced a badged up 540I since the cars look nearly identical from the outside, plus the OEM M-package on a 540I makes it look even more like an M5. Plus you can get the 540I in a 6-speed.
My 540I pulls most stock FDs from a highway roll. A E39 M5 is a closer match on the highway with an E55 AMG.

AGree with ForceFed.. They run 12.7-12.8 in 1/4

It really depends on years of E55s...

Newer E55s dyno @ 440+rwhp stock..

Not an AMG E55 you didn't
AMG E55s will run high 11.80-12.1s bone stock out of the box and trap 116-119.
