this rasta guy is pretty close himself. who goes to other forums and talks about how great their **** is and puts down the car that the forum is titled after. that in itself is grounds for a banning and this guy is way guilty of that.

the difference is that u dont sign up there to boast about the fd. u read and post to learn about those cars. huge difference. one is being a troll and the other is being a car enthuasist. running around the rx7 forum boasting about how superior the ls1 is to the rotary for the soul purpose of being an e-thug is completely out of line and that member should be banned. Several members are guilty of that that are posting here. i been around this fourm for a decade. i know who is here to have fun and who is here to be an immature brat.

^^I agree with Matty. Some of the v8 guys like Scott (2mchpwr) are good guys who dont stir up trouble and actually contribute to the forum, but many others are trouble makers who:

(a) are pissed off b/c they blew too many rotaries so now hate the engine

(b) are just large displacement v8 supporters who dont understand the rotary and therefore hate it

(c) are just jerk offs in general, any group of enthusiasts has these guys, rotorheads included.

These guys pretty much stick to torquecentral or some other forum, which is alright with me

I lurk the single turbo sections because when I had my Rotary I was going that route, I had a lot of **** ready for the single conversion, but decided to go otherwise. Hell, there are times when I see someone put down some good numbers and I post, "damn! that's amazing! keep up the good job!"

I just don't have anything against rotaries, plain and simple.

I don't go around saying, "oh we'll that's cool, for a rotary, I guess" I know there are V8 guys that do that, but there will always be jackasses in every group. I don't generalize, I don't judge a whole group of people based on one guy, nor do I "stick up for my V8 buddies."

I give credit where its due no matter what because that is the type of person that I am. I don't have **** against anyones choice in anything.

well if the above is true then great and i appologize. but i have my doubts as i have seen u post in this thread and in other threads that made me question your purpose here. The fact that u can defend the guys that were posting in this thread makes me further question your purpose and general maturity level/personality. i mean the guy u defened and his "boyzzzzz" are some of the most assnine people i have seen post in this forum in my many yrs of being a member here.....and thats saying something cause i have seen some real gems. 1)Calling people out over the INTERNET for money when the guy lives hundreds of miles away and not knowing a thing about my car or my not knowing a thing about his car, 2)making absolute rediculous claims about the ls1 that the members of ls1tech even think are outragous, 3)talking **** calling people ricers who happen to have a serious machine (single turbo and bridge port with a basically stock exterior) in the garage. i mean this guy and his buddies take the cake man and if u cant see that well then you are one of them too. sorry.

In my eyes, solely on this thread, did you see him say/do anything that you can think of as an offense and in need of a ban? I am going on what happened on this thread - I stopped reading the other thread after I read the first 5 posts..

I don't back anyone up simply because they have the same engine as me or whatever the case you may think, I only back those that I think did nothing to deserve such treatment. That is all.
