Will the OEM ABS unit function with a race transmission?

I have an FD that is built for SSM autocross. It has a dog box race transmission, thus the OEM transmission is gone including no OEM speed sensor. I don't know if that OEM sensor is only for the speedo or if the ABS computer uses a signal too.

If the OEM transmission is deleted, will the ABS computer be missing a speed input that will prevent the ABS from functioning?

Thanks!
Chris

Hi there the OEM ABS works independently from the transmission and factory ECU, only requiring each wheel speed sensor, brake pedal and alternator connection to function. I run an Elite IL300 sequential dog box and still retain my factory ABS without any issue, and even utilize the same wheel speed sensors to operate traction control for the Haltech 2500 ECU
