Any info on this Rx7?

So, I stumbled across this last night

I gotta say that is the sweetest sounding 7 I have heard on a racetrack since the late 80's 7's in IMSA. The sound, the smoothness in shifting, it flies, only thing missing is flames at night on decelaration.

would be interested if anyone knew what all is in this car. Most 1st gen's look a bit slow on the track IMO. This thing seems like it is straight up bad ***.

any info?

Appears to be running at Symmons Plains in Tasmania. If it's not running in historics, probably a state level floorplan car which you might find results for on natsoft - if that's recent.

Although not a rotary, Brad Sherriff's 2wd R32 down there is something to see, has pretty well wiped the floor of even spaceframe cars. He has fucked the category a little though to feed his ego on the mainland, despite being warned not to do so.
