widebands and Safc's

well honda hater theres good news and bad news. the good news is the Safc does work but only when hooked up directly to the battery. lights up perfectly ,its beautiful . but when i connect it to the ecu it doesnt work so i want to shoot myself. but at least i know it works .i i started a thread on the safc section to see if anyone could help me .On the other hand these guys at honda did a nice writeup on widebands, though you might want to check it out since u want one too.! i wanted to have the safc in by the 23rd bbq/dyno day down here so i can tune it.
P.S did you install the v1.7 chip in yet!!!??? read the thread

cool contrats on it working! you may want to, just for the time being, hook it up to the battery with a simple on off switch just to get you tuned, then after that write all the settings down and connect it the right way and put all the settings back in. I wouldn't miss an opertunity to get my car tuned, very important on rx7's. Also thanks for the link I'm going to check it out! No I ended up sending it to them to be installed because I didn't want to void any warranties etc... So it is off now and will be comming back next week. When I get my turbo back from the machine shop I'll let you know how everything turned out with the 1.7 chip.

hondahater you wont believe it but after having my brother check what i did wrong, i actually had the s-afc hooked up correcct it was just that after hooking up the ecu plugs back in i left a main harness plug out which i unplugged during installing. it works fine now and now im just waiting on the ZT-2 wideband which were getting. by the way have you sent in your payment yet? if so to who ?
are you getting it with the LCD display ?
