where can I get cheap coilover spring perches
My seven year old spring perches are so frozen in place that I have to cut them off.
Where can I replace them cheap? So far the only solution I see is those ebay honda coilover kits. They're selling the whole kit with springs for less than I have seen the spring perches alone so far.
Seems kind of wastful to me.
And while we're at it, there are three types of adjusters I have seen, which is best? (least likely to jam, easiest to adjust, etc)
set screw on the collar
clamp style collar
jam nut style collar

I searched and couldn't find any spring perches at stockcarproducts.com but I already found coilover kits at www.behrents.com. They were about $35-40 per wheel.
Those ebay kits start at $65 shipped for kits complete with 4 springs. It seems wastful to me to throw away 4 new springs but that's what I'll do if I can't find the spring perches alone for less than $15 per wheel.
I think I'll choose the jam nut style of spring perches. I always had problems with sand in the threads of the set screw style. It seems to me the clamp style will have the same problem. I also think those small screws in the perch are always in danger of stripping or rounding out the allen key.
