I'm curious what kind of wheels you guys are running on your cars. I'm mostly wondering about club racers, but amd curious about everyone.

Real racing, 16x12, 16x11 ~1100.00 a set, circle would be ~400.00 a set, but you need spacers to clear the caliper in front. Carl

I dont have any race rubber now but I do have the rims:

set of FC convertible rims that I got for cheap
15x6.5, 11lbs
lightweight, tires will be cheap in 15s and if they get fugged up...no big loss!

Carl,

Would we be able to run 16x10 front and 16x11 or 16x12 in back for FD with those real wheel racing?
Does not need to clear fender, as long as it clears arms, and springs...

I'm using a second set of stock GTU rims, can't get much cheaper than that. Then again, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

CCW's ... three piece, forged wheels with the lightened centers.

reza, if you're still running Alex's car ... y'all need to run 17x9.5's with the 275/40 17 V710's. Should fit without any rubbing.

Someone else here mentioned them.. They'll supposedly do custom offsets, hoping to eliminate the need for spacers on my car..

The Koseis are great wheels, please don't think you made a bad choice there. I've bounced off curbs repeatedly, no bending or cracking..

stevensimon,
Did a search for dynalite and only came up with Willwood calipers. Could you let us in on the secret?

Do you mean Duralite? They are basically defunct at this point. Not doing anything with racing rims, atleast not the last time I called them a few months ago.

Personally, I'm just wanting something near 16x8, that's cheap, doesn't require spacers, and can be had fo' cheap.

I was planning on some nascar-style wheels, but just wanted to see what everyone else is running.

Steel racing wheels on the street are teh win.

You'll need spacers to clear the FC front caliper on a 16" Nascar Style rim. Carl

Yea, running Alex's car. I am also running my own car.
I have CCW 17x10 with A3S03 275/40/17
and Alex has CCW 18x10 with A3S03 285/30/18

As soon as my A3S03 wears out we will try the V710 on 275/40/17.
I still have to upgrade my brain to catch up with speed and grip.

Hey Silkworm,

Does Team Dynamic make the proper offset and bolt pattern (15X7 27MM offset 114.3X5)?

I am running one set of K1's and a set of vert rims for rains but I could use another set of dry tire rims.
