My dad used to run an old Rabbit and I currently run an 82 Scirocco which is essentially the same chassis as a Rabbit. The cars do great and we actually race against another Rabbit. I don't think they're that bad

Sure does. He didn't get any bidders so keep an eye on it. You may be able to snag a backup car for cheap
