1.5 or 2 way? just curious about it because that is next on my list in terms of upgrades. i own a 90 gtu so any other fc opinions would be awesome. specifically i'm looking for something that will perform well during drift and grip. thanks for any opinions.

 

You're best bet is probably Cusco. I chose cusco becuase they can be canged from 1 way to 1.5 way to 2 way, and like you, I was not sure what to use.

Cusco make Mechanical LSD's that fit for both series 4 and 5 FC's.

There are two types of Cusco LSD's, the first type is a called MZ and the Second is called RZ. I used a Cusco MZ type LSD, it is cheaper and and is more violent then the RZ.

Generally 2 way is the best for drift, but it really depends on your style. Using a two way, I found you must attack the corner otherwise you will just end up understeering into it.

I ended up liking 2 way best!

 

We run three Guru Torsen's in three race cars and it's great. It made a nice difference going from the LSD to the Torsen.
