E85 takes about 20-40 more volume than Gasoline does to get the same mixture. knowing that you can use the Gasoline calculation and then add 40% and you should be set for E85.
you also need to make sure the pump you choose is compatible. Gasoline is related to oil, so it lubricates somewhat. E85 is not, so it does not lubricate (if anything its a solvent).
other than that E85 is a great race fuel, its very forgiving.

I'm wondering what kind of carb you'd run on a peripheral port can keep up with the flow. Even on gasoline, you had to extensively modify Weber IDAs to keep up with the fuel flow needed for a 300hp peripheral port.
This is aside from what potential benefit there'd be on a N/A engine with E85 given that N/A rotaries are definitely not detonation limited. if anything they are combustion limited. Mazda was mixing kerosene into racing fuel in the GTU days to get highly volatile, 80 octane fuel...
