Exclamation We Need A Revolution!

No longe shall we stand down! We shall rise as one, as a group of street racers! Today my racing was put to an end for 3 months or more because some *** hole couldn't get off his damn phone and look down the road for traffic. I was driving my winter car a 2000 dodge stratus when this ill minded person pulled out off a side street and slowly got going with the flow of traffic but not taking up only one lane, no he has the nerve to take up both lanes, leaving no where to go, and nothing to do but it the brakes, drop gears, and say your prayers. I managed to slow my car down from the 65mph to about 15-25mph before impact, the air bags went off and since i always have a loose grip on the wheel when driving around town the bag blew my hand off the wheel and slammed my wrist into the steering whee. The Doctors say i will need surgery for a torn ligiment in my wrist.

Forget my injurs and misfourtune though, this is bigger then that, it is time we fight back, FU** the cops, FU** the law, we are the law now we run the streets, we are the new reconing force that moves on 4 wheels, we must let others know "stay in the FU**ING right lane and let me pass" do what u must, we MUST BE HEARD!!!!!!!! ONE LOVE, THE STREETS!!!!!!!

As a citizen of the United States of America, you have rights and responsibilties. It is your responsibility to adhere to the law or deal with the punishment. It is also your right to challenge the laws in a court. So get off your **** and challenge them if you feel so strongly about them.

Another one of the responsibilities of having a license (at least it is implied, anymore, not explicitly stated) is that you are able to control your car. For not having been able to do that, you have to deal with the consequences. Don't whine, you agreed to the set of laws governing the roadway when you got your license. You broke them and you got caught. But hey, so did the other driver.

In the meanwhile, deal with it. I'd suggest you look into getting better brakes and taking an evasive maneuvers driving course if you intend to drive at such speeds and not get all messed up like that. That should save you a great deal of trouble in the future, at least it would be a lot cheaper than another accident and its consequences.

Ska, you're an idiot. Street racing is so stupid... for just a little more $ you can get yourself on a track with an instructor and no worry of getting caught and little worry of hitting someone else. Besides, you can't drive your hard car long enough on the street to enjoy all the benifets of a lot of your mods. And on top of it all, although this may not apply to you, around me there are lots of people who bicycle on the streets. You think people on cell phones are a problem? No way buddy... you hit a bicycler and your *** is in court for manslaughter. Drive the speedlimit, and if you have a problem with it... like Corcis said, you can always challenge it. Find a track for your fun driving. We don't like idiot drivers anymore then you do, but we all deal with them and move on.

Slower for the Streets

Mmm, the whole idea of street racing isn't so cool. What about trying track-days with your hot ride if you wanna get it all going really quick. That way you can see how quick you really are too.

The "stay right except to pass" is not something that applies to city streets. And why did your hand hit the steering wheel when the bag went off? If you had your hands on the outside of the wheel like you should have then they would have been blown clear of anything. Also, I'd be really surprised if you were obeying the speed limit if he was able to pull out onto the road from a side street like that.

Street racing is stupid and you obviously do not understand the potential risks involved. It's too bad that instead of learning from your mistake you've decided to get angry and blame other people.

Until you prove it in court, you are at fault for the accident since you rear ended someone. Cut. Dry.

Good luck with the revolution.

This was discussed in recent newscast that in NC it is not illegal to hog the left lane anywhere in this state, including interstates. And like many laws, I disagree with it.

Not to mention the original poster's lack of situational awareness. He lambasts the guy who pulled out.... but guess what? Cars don't materialize out of thin air.

It's also strange, I've never had side traffic pull out on the track, where racing belongs.

Too bad Darwin missed.
