Warning Lite Setting Question?

What set-point are you running for your low oil pressure warning lite?

50 psi. this is not the sensor that is included in most pre-wired gauge kits though. they usually contain a 5psi or lower switch. when this light(using the 5psi switch) comes on in a racing situation it is to inform you that you need to rebuild your engine. 50 psi will give you time to shut the engine down before all the bearings are ruined

Oil Pressure Warning Light

Great info. I had never thought of that. Will order a 30 lb switch tomorrow. Still using stock oil pressure bypass.
