Where can I pick up a tach signal for my TraqMate? ('86 FC3S)

Yellow/blue wire with a female bullet connector on the trailing coil.

Good luck and this chassis is great handling and lots of top end punch. Forget about torque though, all momentum.

Make sure your car has the 5:12 diff, its a night and day difference in the car.
