Which stock LSD is better for racing?

ON Which stock LSD is better for racing?

The '81 - '83 or the '84 - '85. ???

My understanding is that they have different disc configuration and therefore work differently.

If your interested I have a large axle 4:88 LS. It was set up to road race an E Production car.

First of all, Dave ^^^^ is a great guy to deal with

From what I've read, which of course is not always correct, the difference is between the GSL and the GSL-SE LSDs. Since the SE has a larger ring gear they had to do away with one of the clutch plates in the LSD unit. So, the GSL has a bit of an advantage....
