MO Steering Quickenr ?

Has anyone ever installed a steering quickener in an autocross RX7 with manual steering? If so how hard was it to do? And how hard was it to steer after it was installed? Would a rather small female driver have issues driving it?

Thanks, trying to decide if this is doable and not kill my female codriver.

with manual steering, it would be harcore. find an electric rack (mr2, s2000..) if your going to use a steering quickener.

If you want to stay with the manual steering you could depower a 17.4:1 or 15:1 power rack.

He's looking to make it take fewer turns lock to lock not change the angle of each wheel as you turn.

I know of one guy that put a steering doubler on a FIAT X1/9. He had to run a power steering rack because it was very hard to turn with out one. (and that is a mid engine car) Look up the name Chuck Sample in the SCCA national auto-x results for the last 20 years, that's who's car it was.
