Has anyone here run in the Silver State Classic? http://www.silverstateclassic.com/

Looks like a heck of a lot of fun, and I wanted to see if anyone here had run a car there (especially an FD).

My cage builder used to, ran 190mph in a 94 Z28, just shy of his 200mph jacket He's doing road racing now. He loved it. The FD should do very well there..

Paul, I assume you are talking about Craig? I heard he is moving back to New Zealand. I have run silver state for the past 4 or 5 years.

Top speed on radar 206...

I ran my FD a couple of times. The car now has a 3 rotor and will be ready for the october race.

No, Alan Blaine, polo green Z28 with aluminum ground effects.. He hasn't run in the last two years I think, but did it quite often before that.

I remember Alan....really nice guy. Whatever happened to him? While Alan didn't have the fastest car but he was the only unlimited driver that drove his car to the races. I will be at Silver State in two weeks navigating for a guy....

 

He's road racing now, wanted to start passing people Run the Camaro in ITE out here in SFR SCCA.
