Side Exit FC exhaust

Anyone ever done a side exit exhaust on an FC? I am considering having a 100% dual side exit exhaust done on my FC racecar. The car is only 3 years old and the 3rd exhaust just gave up the ghost. Blown welds, melted presilencers, brokent flanges and hangers etc. I want something lighter, fully dual, etc.

I am thinking of using the racing beat road race presilencer and having custom piping put downstream of that. That would be my soul source of sound suppresion. It would have to be cut and moved slighly forward from my measurments. I would heat shield it all the way to the side of the car.

The only problem with the RB RR presilencer is how low it hangs on the car. Ive already torn one up because of how low it hangs.

Ive thought of this before, and have again recently as i plan on buying the true dual header and pre-silencer as well.. but the problem is that there really is no room under an fc for that.. the only thing i can think of is cutting the chassis to rout it through the cubby holes and insulate it in some sort of box.. this could work for you, just isnt for me..

I think to do it successfully you'd have to route it through the passenger compament. That's fine if you don't have, or want, a passenger seat. You'd then have to box it and insulate it to prevent making a fast oven, so I think you're weightloss gains may be less than you'd hoped.
