When you have sponsors you are their representative, a public face for the company, so you have to be on your best behaviour all the time. No one would want to sponsor you if this is the way you act.

Im no ones bitch, fuuuck that. I dont mind learning, listening, being mentored, but forget that noise about being on call 24/7 365. That doesnt work for me. I do understand what youre saying though. I need to get into the racing scene before i can START racing...that makes perfect sense. And it would definitely help my cause...

"I swear, just because im 18, and posted an idea, people flame me. You didnt flame the guy that was making the Hella light kit for the FC, modifying the flip up design. He hadnt even started it when he posted...He just had more money, and engineering/cad experience behind him."
Hate to break it to you but $ and knowledge make the world go around. ignorant and broke won't impress many people.

I plan to get into racing by doing local autox, regional events, and moving up eventually to SCCA, and going from there.
Im not trying to impress people, I really dont care what they think of me, at least on here. 1, its the internet, 2, I probably wont ever meet any of you anyway, 3, I just dont care.

help
Rotary Noob, I defended you and you keep diggin the hole.... You need to just stop, I am not getting on your case just trying to help.
Here is some advise
1. You should care what people think of you (to a certain extent). Don't get me wrong, you do not need to agree with everyone. Don't be so quick to give somone the finger, it makes you sound 18. Just because you are 18 does not mean you need to act 18. I am 27, not to much older than you.
2. There are some really cool, really hooked up people on the forums. You never know who is looking and watching.
3. Don't correct people's spelling and grammar, this is a forum (a place people go to chat, not write a published book)...
4. Get some seat time, that is the one thing that will make you fast.
5. Come out to one of my events, I will put you in the pasengers seat and you can get a look at what goes on in a race car. I am racing at Cal speedway next Sunday.... If you want to go PM me. I will be taking my 3 rotor per. port 1958 bugeye sprite (450hp in a 1590 pound car a Hoosier slicks)...
Kind of funny you are talking about Steph, I raced against him when he was that street racing kid you are talking about. I started out very similar to him. Back in 97 I had the third fastest Honda in the world when I was 17. I built the motor myself in my garage, I was putting out 390 hp and I was running a 95 integra. I had NO LSD and ran 11.7 at 128 MPH. I had a lot of sponsors on the car, and you know what I am still sponsored by Bogart racing wheels, ACT. I stopped racing in 1999, I got married and now have two kids (took a break) and in 2002 started to autox. I have a lot of sponsors on my 7's, because I treat people right and try and act like a Pro all the time. Now before you write somthing back and post it, DON'T.... Just think about what I am telling you, let it sink in. Send me a PM tomorrow and let me know what you think about my feedback.
