Rotary Extreme Harness Bar
I just bought a Rotary Extreme Harness Bar for my 3rd gen from another forum member.
This bar is somewhat different than the one pictured here:
RE Harness Bar
The bar on the RE website has 4 holes 4 eyebolts.
The bar I have has a triangular shaped indentation machined into it where the harness tailstraps should attach, and there are 3 set screws in each indentation. It looks like some plate should be attached there for the straps.
I'm contemplating getting 4 PT Schroth ASM harnesses for use in AutoX and track days.
Schroth Harness
Q: What is it that bolts up to the harness bar?
None of the harnesses I see online use anything like what is on this bar.

Yeah, the triangular indentation with the three holes is the the stock cargo cover hooks. It bolts right up and you can use your cargo cover.
Btw... I don't know if I would rely solely on that bar for safety. It's still dependent on the strength of the stock strut tower plates. You might want to wear the stock seatbelt in addition to the harness. I have the same harness bar and I just use it to run a 4pt harness at the track to hold me in the seat better, but I don't really rely on it alone as a safety harness. A good harness bar you could trust is the M2/RaceShop bar.
