GPL was a incredible game. At first I wasn't into the idea of driving vintege cars, but that wore off pretty quick. 
A lot can be learned that is transferable to the real world. The cars are so sensitive that they force you to be good with their balance. Not having the seat of the pants sensation takes away, but hightening your other sensations is valuable.
The PC game industry seems to be in trouble, but who knows what Papyrus will end up doing now that EA has the official Nascar license. Let's hope David Kramer decideds to produce another great game.
