Road Race oil temp issues

I race an 82 ITA that I purchased last year. The oil temp goes in the red after about 6 laps. It has an after market aluminum rad and oil cooler. I use Royal Purple 40 oil. My only options appears to be larger oil cooler. Any ideas.

Is it an aftermarket cooler? Its hard to beat a stock cooler with proper ducting. You need to make sure any air that comes in the front of the car has to go through the cooler and/or rad to get out. Any leaks will hurt your cooling ability.
