I assume you have checked the tailshaft seal? Maybe not the tail shaft bushing tho? I suspect if the bushing is worn (which can happen when using 4.8 gears, especially if the tailshaft/driveshaft/diff pinion are not properly lined up) you will be more prone to get a leak. Or maybe not, since I think there is an oil flow channel to get oil to the back end of the bushing. Anyway something to think about I guess.
The only time I have had an oil leak at the tailshaft it was due to a bad seal.

I hadn't brought a spare seal otherwise we'd have changed it Saturday evening. I now have spares...
